February 2005
1. What did we do this month?
--Outlook session workshop (Zook & Forba-Mayer)
--Complied information for tech budget next year (Zook)
--Prepared for AG Tech Fair (Zook, Forba-Mayer & Jones)
--Assisted several teachers and departments using Integrated Pro for both grade submissions and other features (Zook & Brady, & Jones)
--Designed a distribution for in-house video (Jones)
--Worked with Craig Miller, different departments, and Mr. Alexander about problems with In-Touch (Brady)
--Posted new "Post Graduate Survey" on SurveyMonkey.com for Adam Kleinmeulman (Forba-Mayer)
--Met as a group to discuss tech needs for building (Zook, Forba-Mayer, Brady & Alexander)
--Prepared building recommendation bids for technology (Forba-Mayer, Jones, Brady, & Zook)
--Continued to support teachers with laptop carts, digital cameras, and LCD projectors (Forba-Mayer)
--Updated school web pages (Forba-Mayer)
2. What do we have planned for next month?
--Want to go around and help teachers with IGPro so that the information for In-Touch is accurate.
--Attend PDE Workshop "How Good is Good" on school library programs (Forba-Mayer)
--Find interactive optics websites for use in class (Zook)
--Tristate Young Adult Committee Meeting (Forba-Mayer)
--Continue to work with Vernier software (Zook)
--CCIU Librarian's Meeting (Forba-Mayer)
--Work on DITC (Delaware Instructional Technology Conference) presentation (Forba-Mayer)
--Continue to update high school web pages (Forba-Mayer)
--Continue to train teachers with video downloads (Forba-Mayer)
3. What do we need from district resources?
--We would still like to use the Shared B folder on the district site for teachers - Linda Simasek started to work on our problem with this -- what is the status of the problem? (Forba-Mayer)
4. Who would you recommend to participate in techmentoring with Joyce & Craig?
--Forba-Mayer to work with Joyce on Flash & Fireworks (never met yet - perhaps March - we'll get together at some point in time this school year!)
5. What steps did we take this month to publicize the ITLT services in our school?
--Talked to several teachers about Integrated Pro regarding interim grades and how to input them (Zook &Brady)
