January 2005
1. What did we do this month?
--Implemented two new labs using Vernier (Zook)
--Assisted several teachers using Integrated Pro for both grade submissions and other features (Zook & Brady)
--Went to presentation on Smart Boards (Zook)
--Worked with Adam Kleinmeulman and finalized "Post Graduate Survey" on SurveyMonkey.com (Forba-Mayer)
--Worked with math teachers on tablet PCs and overhead projectors (Brady)
--Worked on survey for tech needs to be given to department chairpersons (Zook)
--Organizing an after school event for helping teachers with Outlook (Zook & Forba-Mayer)
--Continued freshman orientation to PowerLibrary databases (Forba-Mayer)
--Continued to support teachers with laptop carts, digital cameras, and LCD projectors (Forba-Mayer)
--Updated school web pages (Forba-Mayer)
--Tristate YA Book Committee Meeting at Bryn Mawr Public Library (Forba-Mayer)
--Continued to assist English classes with electronic databases for research (Forba-Mayer)
--Worked on DITC presentation proposal (Forba-Mayer)
--Met with Cecil County Public Librarian's regarding SAILOR databases (Forba-Mayer
--Spoke to New Jersey State Librarian's regarding NEWJERSEYCLICKS databases for presentation (Forba-Mayer)
--Begin to plan for district tech fair (Forba-Mayer & Zook)

--Still hoping to get my tablet PC so that I can use it in my lessons (Brady)
--Possibly work on grant for Smart Boards (Zook)

3. What do we need from district resources?
--More carts for LCD projectors -- the projectors are getting a lot of use -- but teachers would love to have the projectors on the small carts (Zook & Forba-Mayer)
--We would still like to use the Shared B folder on the district site for teachers - Linda Simasek started to work on our problem with this -- what is the status of the problem? (Forba-Mayer)
4. Who would you recommend to participate in techmentoring with Joyce & Craig?
--Forba-Mayer to work with Joyce on Flash & Fireworks (never met yet - perhaps February will be a better month)
5. What steps did we take this month to publicize the ITLT services in our school?
--Talked to several teachers about Integrated Pro regarding interim grades and how to input them (Zook &Brady)
--Sent out a school wide e-mail reminding the high school staff that we are here for them and gave suggestions on how to use Integrate Pro (Brady)

1. What did we do this month?
--Worked out two new labs (using Vernier LoggerPro) that can be used in all levels of physics. (Zook)
--Messed around with Math Type (a program for writing equations in Word). (Zook)
--Pieced together some computers that can be networked in classroom (Zook).
--Worked with Adam Kleinmeulman and Linda Simasek to create and setup a "Post Graduate Survey" on SurveyMonkey.com (Forba-Mayer).
--Assisted teachers with school email - using directory, opening attachments, etc. (Forba-Mayer)
--Continued freshman orientation to PowerLibrary databases (Forba-Mayer)
--Continued to support teachers with laptop carts, digital cameras, and LCD projectors (Forba-Mayer)
--Updated school web pages (Forba-Mayer)
--Librarian's meeting at CCIU (Forba-Mayer)
--Worked with National Honor Society to create and upload their web page using Dreamweaver. (Forba-Mayer)
--Continued to assist English classes with electronic databases for research (Forba-Mayer)
--Worked with a few teachers on using the United Streaming and CCIU's videos for classroom lessons (Forba-Mayer)
--Assisted several teachers using Integrated Pro for both grade submissions and other features (Zook & Brady)

--I hope to get my tablet PC so that I can start incorporating it into my lessons. (Brady)
--Get together with Clint to make folders for all students in my classes so that I can view their work and e-mail it home to them (this most likely will take a few months to accomplish due to time). (Zook)
